Goodall’s recently launched a range of brand new and unique cooking Pastes.
It’s not always possible to have your favourite ingredients to hand in the fridge – you may not use them frequently enough to buy them fresh or you might have run out. This range of pastes will ensure that you always have a core range of cooking ingredients in a convenient format. Anyone who has ever wiped their eye, by accident, when chopping chillis will appreciate this handy little pot. We have kept the pastes as close as possible to the natural ingredient, (for example our Garlic paste is made with 93% garlic) just use them where you would use the fresh ingredient. They come in 6 great flavours: Garlic, Ginger, Chilli, Shallots, Rosemary and Italian herbs. Incredibly flavoursome, versatile and convenient, the pastes will keep in refrigerators for up to 4 weeks once opened. You can buy them in Dunnes, Superquinn, Supervalu & all good independents. We have included some recipes below, however here are some quick ideas…
Garlic & Chilli Dips – Mix a small spoon of Garlic or Chilli paste into some sour cream for a quick dip.
Classic stirfry base – mix together some Ginger, Garlic and Chilli pastes as a classic base before adding your stirfry ingredients.
Garlic & Rosemary Lamb Chops – Just coat your lamb chops with our Garlic & Rosemary paste before grilling.
Add a spoonful of Italian Herb Paste to your Spaghetti Bolognaise to make it really sing.
