This recipe is tried and tested and is hugely popular with kids of all ages!
- Cream the butter with 2 cups sugar. Add oil, eggs, and vanilla to create the batter.
- Separately, mix flour, baking soda, and cream of tartar together. Add to batter mixture.
- Form balls of dough batter and roll them in the mixture of cinnamon and sugar. Flatten with the bottom of a glass that has been dipped in sugar.
- Bake at 180C on an ungreased cookie sheet for 10 minutes or until the edges are lightly brown. You want them to be chewy and soft.

- 600g flour

- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
